The Emerson 00275-0096-0001 250Ω ruggedized load resistor is used with the Emerson 375 and 475 series Field Communicator. The load resistor boosts resistance in a communication loop to a HART (highway addressable remote transducer) communication protocol enabled device, enabling the field communicator to communicate with devices that have less than 250Ω of resistance present in the HART loop.
